Before the treatment

- If you have been exposed to sunlight or UV rays, let us know before each session so we can adjust treatment parameters.
- Do not remove hair with wax or tweezers in the area to be treated for one month prior to treatment; if desired use other methods that shave the hair but that do not pull out.
- Do not use self-tanning products the week prior to treatment.
- Do not bleach the hair to be removed for 15 days prior to treatment.
- Do not apply make-up on the treatment area the day of the procedure (face or similar areas).
- Do not use cosmetics which contain Glycolic Acid or Retinoic Acid in the 3 days prior to treatment.
- Do not use deodorant before or after the laser session if such treatment is for underarm hair removal.
- If your skin suffers from chloasma or a tendency towards hyper-pigmentation, use a local skin lightener to be applied during the two weeks prior to treatment.
- If you suffer from recurring herpes labialis (more than once a month), please let us know so as to start preventive treatment the day before the laser session.
- Treatment is not recommended for people who in the last 6 months have undergone oral treatment with Roaccutane ®, TIGASÓN ®, Neotigason ® (oral isotrerinoina) and for people who in the last 6 months have subjected the hair removal treatment area to laser CO2 treatment, Erbium Yag or dermabrasion.
- Keep the treatment area clean-shaven with a razor or depilatory cream, except for the facial area that the laser operator will shave the day of treatment.
